Paper prize

The winners of the “Best Paper” prize (sponsored by the Policy and Internet journal) were Thomas Chadefaux (ETH Zurich) for his paper: Early Warning Signals for War in the News, and Jonathan Bright (EUI) for: The Dynamics of Parliamentary Discourse in the UK: 1936-2011.

The Google-sponsored “Best Poster” prize winners were Shawn Walker (Univ. Washington; with Joe Eckert, Jeff Hemsley, Robert Mason, and Karine Nahon): SoMe Tools for Social Media Research, and Giovanni Grasso (Univ. This is a conference of the Oxford Internet Institute and the journal Policy and Internet. Policy and Internet calls for papers on the implications of the Internet for public policy.
